Lilaea offers the complete line of
Artesa earthenware.
Artesa is "art in ceramics." Imported from Ecuador,
each piece is superior in quality, design and durability.
Durability.
The same clays from which the Incas used to make ceramic crucibles
to melt and refine gold are used in Artesa ceramic products. High
firing under long intense heat sets the clay and fuses the tiny
quartz grains to produce an especially "Artesa tough" natural composite,
more resistant than common "earthenware" to chipping and breaking.
Dishwasher safe.
Artesa glazes are incredibly resistant to harsh dishwater chemicals.
NO Heavy Metals.
Artesa ceramics are 100% free of all toxic metals and materials.
Artesa glazes are made in the US and all Artesa products have passed
California's stringent parameters for lead and cadmium.
Design.
Artesa's skilled craftspeople decorate each piece by hand with a
fine attention to detail and design. During every stage, the artisans
adhere to a traditional patented process which ensures greater consistency
from piece to piece and artist to artist.
"Art In Ceramics" extends to all aspects of Artesa's
products. |
